    Saints can emulate Norwich, I see them being around the top most of the season, still think Wet Sham will win the division though.

    I think Southampton will be up there at the end of the season. I think play offs more likely than automatics but as for who finishes above who between us both i don't know.

    Complete and utter bollocks. How old are you, 12? I happen to have been supporting City since 1958, first game, and I can actually see through those black and amber tinted glasses. I happen to live in Pompey, have a season ticket at City, so you see, I really am pretending to be a City fan, NOT!

    Seriously, I see quite a lot of Saints on local TV and mark my words they are a good, exciting side. We are work in progress and if we need to look to see what is going to be required we need look no further than Saints. I am just beeing realistic, thats all.

    i have seen so many teams down the years start off like a train just like the saints and then the weels come off the wagon. lets wait until after the xmas / new year programme and see who lies where shall we.

    the top 10 sides on jan 3rd 2012 will - imo - be the ones in the shake up next may. a very long way to go.

    If anything it looks like Brighton who could fall away after a good start, despite losing to Cardiff and Leicester Southampton have still looked a decent side worthy of their lofty position. It depends how they deal with a bad patch that all teams have over a season as to whether they will be up there come May. We all saw what Norwich did last season and that has probably given the likes of Southampton and Brighton the confidence to have a real go at the division.

    Saints fan in peace.......I just wanted to publicly reply to the original poster. I have exchanged PM's with TigerReece over this already as I am sure he can confirm. I have asked the other mods if they have deleted any posts or pulled them or what ever. I have checked the moderators log and can find no record of the post. I therefore cannot make any rational explanation as to what actually happened. From a moderators point of view any Hull fan is welcome to join in any debate on the Saints board always assuming they are not winding the fans up or making crass remarks. Like any board these are likely to create a problem and eventually we have to get involved. I am sure your own moderators will confirm this. However in this particular case no such thing happened as far as we could see. Just thought I would come over and set the record straight. Good luck guys for the rest of the season except of course for two very special matches. See you in November
