seeing as the other thread is closed I can't respond to that muppet Amsterdam Roger (who in fact is your stereotypical cry baby Sunderland fan). He accused me of kicking off on the thread named ( Fuller is a cowardly bastard). What are us Stokies supposed to do? We have had weeks of crap from those knuckle draggers since the namby pamby Huth incident and to be honest I'm sick to the back teeth of them as they have actually ruined any kind of enjoyment from these boards. They remind me of the fat bully boy kid at school that would start to pick on the weaker kid and then when that kid fought back they would run crying to get all his mates to come fight his battle. They have an almost nomadic pack mentality and the biggest whiners on these boards. The PM I sent to AR was to ask him what evidence does he have that I cause conflict on other boards. As his answer was not forthcoming proved my point that he has none because it is not true. Every post I've made since being on not 606 can be searched so I have nothing to hide whatsoever. Problem is the Scumderland fans like to dish it out but can't take it. I asked last night if the mods can keep them off our boards but do appreciate that there is more to life than this crap on here. yeah I like to come and chat Stoke stuff and in real life get on with most. But like in real life also if someone gets in my face I will get in theirs right back. Came very close to deleting my account today and then thought why should I let a few lowlifes ruin the Stoke chat I have with the decent posters on our boards. In real life I would avoid scum like the plague so there it is if I see any Sunderland ****e that's what I will do from now as they really are not worthy of my time! PP no need to apologise mate as they didn't when they started their venomous threads about Huth, Pulis and Fuller!
Potter Palm and Waddo Either way I've made up with the Mackem's at least for now anyway! Thanks for the apology P.P. We all say things that sometimes we don't mean, at least I know I have more than once on here.. I didn't agree that a Mackem posted a thread on BOTH boards and I told them just that. As far as I am concerned it's done with, over KAPUT! I guess, eventually a bit like Stoke City we we're full of it first couple of season's non more than me of course. I just think personally the Sunderland fans are getting a little excited as MON has turned things around and some. But, no doubt's they will hit a bad patch, just has we have or we did until the last two home games. I would forget it now and move on guys.. Pottermouth, Regarding your comment on the closed thread. I do have some knowledge of the area as I have family from Stoke who used to live on the Bentilee Estate, which I visited quite a few times in my youth by the way. I also spent many a good day at Trentham Gardens, on the boating lake and in the outdoor swimming pool, of which I have fond memories. Guys, the ONLY point I was trying to make, is that when people come on here, with their vile comments and mindless hatred of all things Stoke (and this season it has got worse, with most opposing fans having a go at us), if we respond in kind, it makes us look as bad as them! Call it the moral high ground, whatever. I said ages ago that I have had enough, the past week's posts have confirmed that. For starters, any cross-board thread that contains any nonsense, should be closed immediately, that may help. I don't know and to be truthful I don't really care, I feel a final flounce approaching!
NB I feel exactly the same way mate and in total agreement that provactive cross board threads should go straight away as it is inevitable that they will descend into chaos and name calling!
Nick, Potts et al, Yes I suggested the post was closed as it was prime for anybody to slag us all off. i also hoped the Fuller Cowardly busatrd thread would be deleted given the vitriol posted on there. I agree that if we respond in same way, we show lower ourselves to their level. It is more likely to rile them if they get no response or a very pleasant response back. Apologies to anybody who wanted to keep going but I just felt we ought to talk Stoke 'stuff' and ignore the comments from Sunderland and any other vile and crude comments. Cheers for now
Guys I did say yesterday that ANY cross thread posts that look like another slanging match will GO/DELETED/KAPUT.. I too have had enough but want to keep the decent debate between the Stoke fans... for now at least. I'll see what Sgt Potter thinks and will PM him sometime today. Bleedin hectic here, doc's to see, missus to keep happy, Grandkids etc.. ALL are more( much more) important to me personally. Than some of the bile that is spouted on here. It's a shame because we're a decent bunch and those who keep wumming us, having a go for whatever reason. Do not know us. That for me is really sad. As I said, end of this season I would be only too happy to hand over the Moderator's job to someone else. Have I enjoyed it on here? For the most part YES I HAVE but the last few months. It's a NO from me too! Some of the carp we've taken from afar is NOT right. KTF one and all.
Cross board threads shouldn't all be given a bad name because of some idiots, there are some decent debates. Just ignore the ones that are obviouslly just their to cause an argument. Fighting on the Internet is like the Special Olympics, even if you win, you're still ******ed.
Pistol Of course threads such as (match day's... F.A. Cup threads) are fine I should have said that in my last post! And the usual stuff we ourselves put on here, I don't have a problem with. I Will keep an eye on things anyway guys.
