Decent somedo type game, rarely gave the ball away maybe their best player.
His reception was very funny when announced half booing half cheering.
During the game booing when he touched the ball, then when he went off the somedo song and a standing ovation, then he clapped us first !
Before realising and clapping the wednesday fans afterwards.
He` still loved the booing was light hearted no anger or hate...Clinton Morrison on the other hand was Booed from when he came on and the B scored.

Yes he was, Mike pretty solid as always but there were a couple of nasty little late clips which the referee missed - naughty boy.

After watching Semedo, I am just glad we let him go. He is rubbish, in my opinion.

Did nothing for me. Few fouls, failed to close down Hayes enough for the 1st goal, several misplaced passes - Thought Hollands was the better player, but as we drew I don't think people share the same thoughts.

Was a typical somedo performance. Solid but totally ineffective going forward.
Stephens and Hollands IMO are far better and attacking minded. Will score far more goals than semedo.

MT - have to agree with you, he wont score goals but he is a proper "ratter" in midfield harrying the opposition. Lets be honest our central midfield went AWOL last night and I am certain that the "Semedo bites yer legs" legend had something to do with it. He was our player of the year last season and deserved it.

    Yep and now he`s useless.
The Elliott thing is typical good keeper slated by our fans for being no good now he`s gone we pine for him and Hamer is rubbish now.
Beat Exeter and we will be good again, draw or lose and useless as every week.

I never really rated semedo since the start of last season- I honestly think he is a defender and not a midfielder.

MT- I remember several times last night giving a sarcastic cheer when he lost possession. Think once Sheffield weds settled down as a whole he got better, but before then he was rattled. Started the game by chasing shadows.

I agree that he had a decent game but Prutton was more influential and had a hunger which we could have done with.

Sorry, Mike. I bow to your superior knowledge. He is fantastic, an absolute world beater who should be driving the Portugal national team onto greater things. Why Chelsea didn't sign him, I don't know? Perhaps they will bid for him in the transfer window, although Barca may be sniffing around and preparing a £25 million, plus Busquets, bid?

Scratching's right though, he did shut Stephens up. Think we're better off without him but he had a typical Jose game, lots of tackles, no creativity, and dodgy passing, but so long as you have a great creative midfielder alongside him then it works. We never did.

    Anyhow, prefer Hollands.

Yep, Hollands has been great for us. Plus he can play a bit, which is always a bonus!

Talk on here was that stephens would run rings round him....didnt happen at all.
There are no world beaters at charlton and never have been in my 40 years supporting them so being a touch silly there...well apart from Big Mig.
I liked somedo sad when he went BUT there you go but to say he`s useless I dont get it.
Some on here seemed to say because we went down during his tenure twice that it was his fault thats just silly.
West Ham went down with Trevor Brooking in the side back in the day.
I havent got superior knowledge...inferior maybe ...its just an oppinion would be boring to all agree.

Hence my latest thread on fickle fans, Mike!

Maybe I should start one on sarcasm and how there is no place for it on football forums - especially from those residing in Ponders End.
