After JTS mentioned on the AGM thread about our record this season with corners, I though I would check this out. Here are some other stats too from our season so far... (including cup games) Games played: 24 Total goals: 30 Shots on target: 118 Average per game: 4.9 Shots off target: 201 Average per game: 8.4 Total shots on/off: 319 Average per game: 13.3 Averaging a goal every 10.6 shots Corners: 158 Goals from corners: 1 (Browns goal vs Barnet) Not sure if our 1st goal vs Morecambe would count as from a corner. What do you think? .
Just for interest I calculated the percentage of goals scored for the total number of shots on goal and for those which were on target. This calculation uses all of last Saturday's League 2 Games only. Total number of Goals scored 39 Total number of shots 237 - scoring percentage 16.5% Total number of shots on goal 108 - scoring percentage 36% Rovers last two games (Exeter and Wycombe) Total number of shots 29 - scoring percentage 13.8% Total number of shots on goal 17 - scoring percentage 23%
