Adel wants this really bad hes even defending

qpr got zamora, adel , cisse as their striker...what we have????????

QPR are better in every position than us

Give me mackie at least he works.

if QPR lose another player we still couldnt score

The only way we get a result in this one is if Clattenburg gives it to us. (at least he tried!!)

    ----
Grammar isnt their strong point but that pretty complimentary. None of "how are we losing to this ****" type comments.

Lets hope they rebound from this and do better against the other bottom sides than Arsenal did!

Spurs tried to 'Apescape' to victory. But alas Bale & Co..... couldn't breach our 'famous back five.'

I hate Spurs ( personal reasons). I love it that we beat them, but almost as much I love it that their po faced fans have these big ambitions which their team is incapable of delivering. Go on their board and read the match thread - they were 100% negative from before the kick off. People forget that after 30 odd years in management Flash 'Arry's achievements add up to one FA Cup and one EPL fourth place. Why anybody thinks he will do any better as England manager is beyond me. Modric and Bale will go in the summer, Levy is too mean to buy Abedayour, they will have to rebuild and will be mid table again.
I have had a lovely day.

We played them at just the right time, my worry is they play Blackburn at home and Villa & Bolton away on the run-in, if they don't find some confidence they could f*ck our season up...

The only person who thought they should have won was their so called manager.

    His interview was hilarious -

"Friedel didn't have a save to make all game"....... hmmmm how about the goal you bellend?

On Chelsea vs Newcastle. "They both can't win"....no **** sherlock.

What a fantastic result! As a north Londoner I have to say that this season is turning out much better than I dared to dream. We've now beaten Spurs and Arsenal in the space of a month! After all those years of: 'why d'you support them?' I can go to work Monday and laugh at the lot of them.

Very similar ending for them as last year. They only won three out of their last twelve, and two of those were their last two. If they do the same this time round they'll do a job for us.

The England players respect Harry. They saw the adverts. He plays on the playstation. Postman Pat, on the other hand, could only just manage patience on his desktop pc. Respect to 'Arry.

He will do very well for England ... until the rampant egos of John Terry and his little mates decide that they don't want to play the way 'Arry wants, then it will all go tits up again.

Harry should wait until tossers like Terry and Lampard aren't playing any more. He (and England) might stand a chance then.

    This was my favourite

'On a side note I've been wondering why the home fans are such disgraceful gunts and booed us for 90 minutes. Done a Google search and found lots of teams have found the same thing, they just got booed constantly for 90 minutes, home fans refusing to throw the ball back, or throwing it far away from the player, etc. Listening to it was doing my head in. It's like they've decided to be a mini-Millwall because they know their team isn't very good.

Awful negative atmosphere and if I was a QPR player I'd think my own team's fans were a bunch of miserable tw@ts'

Poor spurs! Obviously prefer the respectful silence of the Emirates

I think the OP got a fair bit of stick for that.

I do like that the opposition fans cant understand the nasty atmosphere and I suppose neither can the players judging by the fact weve upped the atmosphere and beaten all the bigger teams apart from the Manchester clubs at home.

I think it's because they've accepted how overrated their side is. Had you seen their comments during the Norwich game, you may have a different take, arrogance in the extreme.

It did make me laugh the number of them calling for Rednapp to be sacked.

Like your team, i think theres a big overseas following from places like the middle east and asia who just follow teams to win. (A thread was posted on your board and most of them follow chelsea because they were the best team in FIFA, out of 10 odd pages, only 1 followed you before the Russian crook got there).

We have a different fanbase, smaller but more loyal with a sprinkling of hardcore fans in Scandinavia. of course this could change if we go big in Asia and india.

I've had this discussion before. I don't think you can fully understand the culture of a club unless you are local or have been/go to games. A lot of it is to do with not only success but popularity, with the "Sky 4" - Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, United, supporting them is almost like a fashion statement, I think it's artificial.

A lot of it is down to winning, but also a lot down to popularity. Before we were top 4 regulars, I remember rarely seeing Chelsea on TV, even when playing a big derby like Spurs/Arsenal/West Ham, but once we did we were more or less on TV every week.

During the mid 00s when Sky had a massive expansion abroad I went to the Caribbean in what was their first season of full live football coverage and the only teams you could see were Liverpool, United, Chelsea and Arsenal, their games were prioritised above all others to get the viewers in. If you can't watch teams like Bolton, Blackburn and Villa play I can understand why you wouldn't support them. It was the same with United after the Munich Air Disaster, a lot of people felt obliged to support them after the way they bounced back as a club. United were the only team in Europe and in those days it was patriotic and you supported the English team. European football has always been a platform for clubs to expand their global fanbase.

There are a veriety of reasons as to why people pick teams but it's clear that a Scandinavian supporter of a club outside the Sky 4 (Sky 6 now really) cannot be following that club because of success.
