Its close season and we're all bored. We have the olympics to take our minds off things.....

    BUT

If you were given the chance to meet 1 QPR player....who would it be...?

If you could sit down in a pub and have a orange juice with one of them...what would you say

Personally i have 2. Wouls love a 1 to 1 with Cisse..jst to see what makes him tick...but

My fav would be Jamie Mackie...Love to knpw where he gets his drive and passion for a "small" club. His 100% commitment takes some matching. Also reckon being a "jock" he could put some away !!!

    Anyone else ?

Past player would have to be Rod Marsh - I would imagine there are a few tales to tell that didn't get into his books.

Current player would be Park - Just to hear about having so mush success at the top level

I'd like a fat wallet and a long weekend with Stan & Don.

That's an excellent call. That would be an entertaining evening. You'd have to ensure the pub was next to a bookies though!

I've heard that Rodney Marsh is a bit of a dick.

Personally, I'd choose Taarabt just to see if his heart truly is at the club.

I thought this was a thread on Peter Gabriel albums for a second.

I'd actually like to meet Joey Barton and find out about the City game, what value he places on his 12M contract and how he thinks he fits in with the club's plans.

I'd then challenge him to a game of pool just to see his ultra-competitive streak in action. ;)

For me it'd be the iconic Morgan twins from the Stock / Marsh era. Phenomenal pair of wingers, one left footed, one right, but otherwise identical George Best-type look alikes. Had to present slightly differently for commentators so legend has it: Roger sleeves rolled up, Ian socks rolled down.

As Imaz reminded us the other day, they had their own chants from us fans, the main one being a take on the Bob Dylan/Manfred Mann song, Mighty Quinn:

Come on without, Come on within. You ain't seen nothin' like the Morgan twins!

And from that day to this it's been true for my generation of Rs.

I'm not usually given to sleb worship, but in their case (probably because of my impressionable age at the time) I'd be gobsmacked sitting with these guys. No idea what we'd have to chat about but I'd certainly be more than happy to keep the rounds coming in!

Yeah, I read Roger talking about having to get different haircuts but as is your photo there, never looked like it to me.

Could be worse Brix, here's Southampton's interpretation of their traditional red and white stripes:
