    We've gone from getting Toni Kroos to being interested in James McCarthy, looks like it'll be another summer of f uck up's by Ed Woodward then.

    Van Gaal would get our current team easily into the top 4 next season without even one signing. Moyes was useless only good at small teams and beating up 23 year olds.

    This sounds like transfer rumours to me. You guys really should get a thread to cover this kind of thing ;)

    Matth, firstly don't believe everything you read in the rags or on twitter. Secondly, perhaps wait and see who you have and haven't signed by 31st August before bemoaning another duff summer window. It's not even June yet you wally!

    Another bad transfer window because you're signing McCarthy?

    Is the entire £200million warchest being spent on McCarthy? If so- Ed Woodward SHOULD be sacked... I wouldn't pay more than £100million for McCarthy myself.

    Still think we will get Kroos.

    Its only since it was announced as a done deal that the denials came out. Sounds like a case of keep it quiet until Kroos has done his job in Brazil.

    I would imagine our deals are done and have been for a while. Its a question about when not if as the club was never going to repeat the mistakes of last summer.

    So thats Hummels,Muller and Kroos that have rejected us in recent weeks. Bad news is that Arsenal and Chelsea will join us in bidding for Fabregas and Shaw respectively, but the good news is Fellaini could be off and that McCarthy story was removed by Sky.
