Perhaps the Mods would like to sticky a Transfer News Thread so we dont start a new thread for every new transfer rumour!
But people like making new threads, that's why I don't normally do stickies. In my experience they see traffic for a few days but then get forgotten about as people like starting new threads. I can certainly sticky a thread if you boys want to though.
I also have noticed that some of the other boards have an OT Sticky Thread for all non-football related banter so maybe this mighy be worth considering!
We could probably do with a new introductions thread at the top too because the current one doesn't see any traffic. The offer is there to make whatever thread you choose and I will sticky it, if it goes stagnant I will unstick it....simples.
Stickies are a waste of time, i will always start a thread moaning about us being linked with two ****ing defenders, rather than use a linked thread!! So i would say dont waste your time!! Two ' kin defenders, you couldnt make it up!! Saying that i did say that Mick would probably try and sign a couple of defenders, i should have put this on the ' i told ya so, i was right you were wrong' thread!!
In all fairness, Spanish, we need a more natural RB. Not sure what the value of going in for a CB back is because signing a RB will leave Chambers as cover for both positions, but we only ever seem to be linked with pairs recently and I suppose having more depth to the squad is never really a bad thing. If Berra leaves, as you suggested he might, then we'll need the cover. Get this signing done early and Mick can have the whole summer to get an attacking Midfielder and effective Wingers sorted.
I feel the same way about stickies Spanish but if some posters want it I will make it happen, until the thread has no more new posts of course and then I'll relegate it into cyber limbo. With regards to adding more defenders I don't see the point. We have three quality CB's with Mings capable in that position too and we have two RB's who haven't even been given a chance. The more Mick fills our ranks with defensive minded players the easier it is for him to pick ten of them in the starting eleven......boring.

Veseli I don't think has a future with us and will either be on loan again next season or sign permanently with Bury. Shame after the hype surrounding his transfer but I've heard or seen nothing to suggest he's been putting in outstanding performances in league two. Hewitt I hope does have a future with us at RB but I'm aware other managers, including the Gills boss, have been playing him in an AM role, and we know Mick loves clarity on playing roles.
