Our amazing adventure goes on Three massive points against Eriksson, And his wealthy team Of Premier has-beens I know where Iôd rather belong Our lads once again did us proud To gladden our travelling crowd, And help silence too Those who were in blue Who left with their heads truly bowed And all of this too, on a night Where other top teams had a fright, So the melting pot Is still boiling hot And all places still very tight And without wanting to single out Anyone, I must just give a shout, To Wes, when he scored I must say I roared Thatôll have done him so much good, no doubt So, one of those great nights weôve seen So many times since PLôs been, In charge of our flock Will opportunity knock Once more, for his incredible team. What a grand time to be a Canary! Is it just me, or does anyone else wonder why Holty wasn't automatically our penalty taker? Great work again RBF
Hi RBF bor, great win, fully deserved. Bad news is we are being accused of foxhunting as it is a banned sport! Another problem is what to do with the brush; guess we will have to hang it alongside the one we won at Carrow Road. LOL. Serious note. While we at Norwich are celebrating our good fortune, I think we should spare a thought for the fans of Plymouth Argyle, their fortune at the moment looks very bleak. Shows how football can change so quickly, they were in the Championship when we were relegated, not they are in dire straits.
Not sure QPR would agree with you Mr. Marsupial, but we can also include Barnsley and Sheff. U, at least for now, hopefully a couple or so more to come. and NORKIE, very sad down at Plymouth, I agree, fortunes can very quickly change in this current financial climate, Iôm afraid.
The disparity in finances is crazy, isn't it. The ã2 million cash injection for us was deemed massive (and for us, it was), yet players I haven't even heard of are going for ten times that. It's lucky for us that we have a management team that can spot a bargain. I know about the financial rewards, and that you have to aspire to higher places if you are to improve, but sometimes I feel happier we're not in the Premiership. I'm just hating it right now. Still, enough morbidity, we're doing well aren't we?
Haha, I meant Sheffield, I got confused because we got a double clean sheet vs QPR! Can't find the fried egg smiley, but I deserve one.
