I like the 'Snodgrass is due to play for Leeds against Birmingham on Tuesday night, making any move logistically difficult' line. Surely selling your captain is 'logistically difficult' too. They obviously don't know Bates.
If you only want £2.5m for him, we best get on that phone. We'll get in first as we have Bates on speed-dial.
Yeah I hope it's just lazy journalism Simon. You never no with Bates though but hopefully even he, wouldn't have the balls to sell Snodgrass.
Carra, I think the only factor that is keeping him at Leeds tbh is the fact that he still has 18 months on his contract. If he had 6 months left like Howson, then it would probably be a done deal.
I've said this before and will most probably say it again - if we stay up and you don't get promoted, Snodgrass will be our first signing in the Summer.
I can't see him going in this window either to be honest, but we all know we'll probably be still here in 12 months time when Snoddy has 6 months left. The fact that we can't get anyone to stay and sign a new contract scares the hell out of me. BATES OUT!
weird how if he did go to Norwich, he'd be in midfield with Howson and Johnson - our league one midfield. Anyone else think we had a much better team in League One? lol
Its my opinion. Lambert has history of going back for players after offers have been rejected, plus he bought him when he was Livingston manager, so they obviously have history. As for your jibe, some of you probably thought that about Howson.
