C.****er says that Leeds are waiting on whether Snodgrass will sign a new deal making him the clubs highest earner, if not they said the offer made by Norwich is "not what theyre looking for" make of that what you will, but I suspect theres an awful lot of BS involved

In any event, if Leeds want to string this out a bit to save a bit of face thats fine by me.

"Warnock basically admitting that Snodgrass wants to leave. He will be at Carrow Rd or Villa Park next year."

Rubik's Tube basically admitting he can't process the English language very effectively and is prone to huge leaps in logic. He will be sectioned next year.

Howson could definitely be a potential England player if he keeps up his performances, hardly ever gives the ball away and is very comfortable in possession. Really slotted in well to our midfield. I think he is a gem of a player tbh.

Would definitely be a player I'd be happy to see us sign. Him, Benno and Pilks would be a great asset to us. Would still like to see some pace injected into the team, especially on the flank.

Clinging. Looking increasingly likely he'll be off - reckon the only thing remaining is which postcode to put in his satnav...

Am I the only person to feel desperately sorry for Leeds fans? They were ****ed all those years ago by Ridsdale spending far more than the club could afford to try and get at the European money, then Bates has ****ed them twice now, buying back the club for peanuts after taking it into administration, and now, as he is allegedly about to sell the club, he's selling off the family silver before he goes!

These players that we've taken, plus Snoddy, that we're trying to take, mean a lot to the Leeds fans, Bates is just sticking two fingers up at them!

I psonally think we need a top quality defensive midfielder rather than another (we already have pilks and surman on the left) left mid. If its a winger Hughton wants surely it should be a right sided one? (or am I missing something? Does Snoddy play on the right as well?) Either way like I said its a DM we need most! Im not convinced our defence was always at fault last year, our midfields defensive side was poor.

No harm in getting in a very talented player and if we can use crofts as a make weight to keep the cost down then with our other two free signings (albeit with a small outlay for Butterfield) we still have lots in our transfer pot to sign a good DM.

well judging by warnock's comments, snodgrass is unlikely to be at elland road next season. carrow road or villa park awaits...

I have seen him play left and right, from the right he cuts in to, I believe, his favoured left foot. Think he is both footed though...?

Is it leeds potential owners that said that theyre isnt going to be bucket loads of cash available for transfers? Even though the legend has signed for them, are there new recruits seriously going to make snodgrass think ooo yeah, we have a heck of a chance to go up this season!!

Our bid was clearly a "test the water" type of bid, and if we want him we will be back... Just like steve morison last summer <ok>

Snoddy would be a good move. Only concern is about his pace. Would we use him in the Hoolahan role instead, and let Pilks and Bennett run!? Also, am I the only one who would like Crofts to stay!? I know he didn't wow last season, but he never got a run. He works bloody hard, gets stuck in, and pops up with a goal. the few games I saw him play last season he didn't look amazing, but he was being chucked in cold for 1 game in 15. I think people have dismissed him pretty quick. Just my opinion :)

<laugh> well i'm not sure you should! he's basically said its difficult as his head has been turned and that our offer didn't reach their valuation. the second it does the deal will be on.

Surely butterfield will be the one challenging hoolahan or have I misjudged the type of player he is? I see Snoddy as direct competition for pilks, surman and bennett. I like the sound of Snodgrass but like many others would maybe prefer someone with a bit more pace. Wouldnt say no to him though!

How much are people estimating our transfer pot and spending so far (ie comp for buterfield) at?
