The article linked all the way up there ^ made me want to headbutt a wall until my house fell down every sentence ugh also, the formatting
If Leeds insist on turning down bids for Snodgrass, they could be in danger of losing him for nothing if he refuses to sign a new contract as he has about a year left. It would be wiser for them to accept our bid than lose him for nothing especially if his heart is set on joining his former Leeds team-mates at Norwich.
ALSO, am I the only one that thinks if Snodgrass and Johnson play together, there will be times when you can't tell the difference by sight? Maybe its just my terrible eyes
Or, as I pointed out earlier, we could take a gamble on keeping him like we did with Beckford and hope he makes the difference that gives us promotion. We've done it before (and Beckford had even handed in a written transfer request) so I wouldn't be surprised if we did it again, especially if the rumoured value of the new bid is true!
we can only go by warnock's comments, but to come out in public and say snodgrass has had his head turned and that until his asking price is met nothing will happen, it sounds as though its just a matter of time. the fact that leeds are 'considering' the offer tells us a lot.
What indeed and I for one am not unduly worried if we don't make any further signings - would still like to at least see Curtis Davies or someoene similar come in!!!!
Norwich have tabled an increased offer to Leeds for their skipper Robert Snodgrass, according to Press Association Sport. Leeds turned down a reported £1.5m bid for Snodgrass three days ago with manager Neil Warnock keen to keep hold of the the 24-year-old Scotland international. But the Canaries, who already have former Leeds pair Bradley Johnson and Jonny Howson on their books, have returned with an offer "way in excess of £2m" and Leeds are currently considering whether to cash in on a player who has less than a year this is taken from the BBC. The plot thickens indeed remaining on his contract.
I know, I was jesting! The only thing about this sort of deal is that none of us really know what will happen until it happens! Colin is making noises like he expects to lose him though!
If I was a betting man Which in a big way, I am, Then I´d say he´s here Very soon, to cheer Us all, and show us what he can. OTBC
Also on the BBC "live news" page: Norwich and Barnsley have agreed compensation for Butterfield without going to tribunal. Good! Oops, sorry! Missed Rob's earlier post
