With all the recent shenanagins concerning the takeover/investment mullarky. We can only guess as to what the hells going on behind closed doors at ER. I suspected that Warnock would walk because he wasn't being given funds to do what he told us he was going to do, but he's still there. So I'm a bit more optimistic now and he seems to be making some headway in the transfer department now. Will this takeover happen in time to give us a chance this season. Will it collapse meaning we're goosed this coming season. If it happens will we have cash for quality signings, and many other questions are raised. I think the biggest indicator we can get, is what Snodds decides to do. If he stays he will be confident that the club are at last showing the ambition we've been lacking for the last 3 seasons. If he goes its because he isn't confident we can get promotion. However statements from Warnock about Paddy being a great signing and hard to beat, plus the Andy Gray signing seems to fly in the face of ambition
What's up Doc? Seems to me that many of us are equating takeover with mega bucks for transfers. I don't think that is necessarily what will happen if this takeover is real and does get completed. More likely someone will buy the club and then spend some time figuring out how they want to run the club and what investment they would like to make. Neil Warnock is not known as a manger that makes huge fee sigings but he could spend a bunch on a squad. Slowly but surely, brick by brick he may be putting together the squad he wants and will have in a couple of weeks. MOT (WOB&M)!!!
