I doubt that would happen. The fans have a massive say in the club and they would reject the takeover immediately.

I know but with the debts Barca are running the sponsorship deal is a foot in the door for at least a percentage sale, money is no object to these fellas.

    BPL
It would be good to see them face at least some competition but it would also be another "attractive" proposition to play in Spain that will further tip the power balance towards Spain.

    It's all relative. Barca's debt is £369.5M, Utd's is £716.5M

    Barca are not broke!!

How did you work that out?United have paid off the PIK loan of around £220m.That left a £500m bond scheme, of which they have already bought between £40m-120m worth back, worst case scenario £460m debt but dont let small details ruin your lunch.

    My lunch was fine, thanks.

Your right, the £716.5M was from last June. Its now gone down to £590M.

    Still quite a lot!

My point is that Utd fans are no position to crow about Barca's finances. The Glazier's are still leeching tens of millions out the club every year!

Nothing we can do about that, the Glazers will take "their" debt with them when they **** off back to Disney land.
BTW I didnt realise the Daily Mail was privy to the Glazers accounts in Delaware that are as tightly sealed as the Switz banks but I`m sure you know best.

Who was "crowing" about Barcas debt anyway, just stating a fact that was relevant to the conversation. Thanks for your contribution, I`m glad you enjoyed your lunch.

Is that just a made up percentage? Or do you actually have some facts to base it on

One of these newspapers is shutting down tomorrow. Hopefully the rest will follow soon so we do not have to read these stupid rumours.

35 million minimum and atleast 200k a week in wages, whilst I think he is a talented player, and would be a key player in our side, I do have to question wether he is worth that sort of money. Surely that transfer fee and those wages could be better spent
