  6. Can't remember people smoking in supermarkets but busses definitely. Even as an addict I found that pretty unbearable!

The cinema was a pretty minging one aswell.
Because there was so little ventilation in there, and if you have a cinema with 100 people and 20 of them are smoking, its rancid.

Or they have a nice winnie the pooh tattoo with their kids names on it on their shoulder - whilst driving round in their 4X4 selling crack cocaine to GCSE students..

Buses, offices, cinemas. Even on the sorting office floor when I started with Royal Mail - leaning over a pile of letters with a *** in your mouth.

Happy days - all the big sorting offices had bars too. Handy if you wanted to find a Union Rep or Senior Manager, cos that's where they always were; in the bar, with a pint and a ***.

Although you must do something illegal to have that privilege in the first place.

Maybe I'll take up smoking when I get locked up for banging Marge out cold for looking at my kid.

But you could only smoke on one side of it, as if that made the slightest bit of difference <laugh>

    Exactly

You can only smoke on one side, but we will have next to zero ventilation, so it will just drift all over the place <laugh>

My father in law reckons that back in the 50's and 60's, if you went to the doctor and told him you were suffering from depression, he would tell you to take up smoking <doh>

I used to smoke. Gave it up when the missus got pregnant. Kind of a solidarity thing. Carried on with the odd cheeky cig when I was pissed for years but haven't done that for a while now. I admit that I loved smoking. I'd like to smoke the odd cigar but think it would set a bad example to the kids. Fairly certain that I'll take up smoking again once they've moved out.

I reckon we can get this **** to 50 pages if we all chip in...

So smokers, should they be forced to pass an annual fitness test?

I reckon they should be forced to take an anal fitness test.
    The females at least.
I volunteer to carry out the tests
