Will be interesting to see how he goes, the way things have turned out I wish we had stuck with him, as things couldn't be much worse.

 

I still think we've improved since he left overall.

Defensively for sure, but attacking wise not. Could well be the goal difference in the end that saves us, which will be thanks to Leo's attacking philosophy.

 

I would rather watch us under Slutsky than Adkins I doubt anyone could deny the football we play now I'd worse. If Adkins was getting double the points of Slutsky then it would be understandable but we aren't.

We lost to Sunderland under Adkins - Sluts wins ... not that it really matters, like choosing between a dogshit or a cowpat sandwich

 

At least we could score goals under Slutsky. Now under dopey Adkins we seldom score and we can't defend. What a clueless chump.

 

Does anybody have an actual points per game comparison for Slutsky and Adkins then ? How much better is it now PLT ?

 

I think we look a better team now, if still bereft of confidence and carrying some players with the wrong attitude.

Obviously Milwall was an awful result, but immediately before that we'd been on a decent run and it's felt to me like we've been gradually (and slowly) getting better over time under Adkins. It obviously isn't an easy job as shown by the fact that both managers have struggled to get results.

 

Slutsky should be given credit for our superior Goal Difference, as compared to the other bottom feeders. That might yet save us.

I blame FIFA and FM for convincing people this management malarkey is easy, just because they got Hull City to be champions of Europe.

Makes me cringe hearing people calling for him to go after so few games too.
