    That looks horrendous.

I'm being paranoid here, but they recently opened hullcitytigers.com, I hope we're not slowly changing to "Hull City Tigers" in a "York City Knights" kinda way.

I dont think it makes any difference really.
    I like it.
It makes the badge look less cluttered.

Why because his opinion is different to yours?

The badge in the header has not been changed, so maybe the badge for the player of the year is a mistake by the webpage publisher, or lazyness on their part

Doesnt bother me either, I wouldnt even have noticed if Hull City Kits hadnt pointed it out on Twitter. It's hardly Cardiff changing their kit colour and dropping their nickname and entire badge. We've lost AFC and The as far as I can see.

I like it too, much cleaner without a drastic change. In conversation we're either referred to as Hull City, or The Mighty Tigers, so yeah, I'd be fine with that if that is indeed a change and not just a cleaned up graphic for the awards.

Agro won't notice the AFC being dropped, he doesn't even notice it's there.

I doubt it's been changed, it's probably just something they knocked up for the awards logo.

It was changed on March 5th and it's better than the previous name of The Hull City Association Football Club (Tigers) Ltd.

I just asked 'em on Facebook and the club replied with this

Hull City A.F.C. It's just being used as a logo for the Player of the Year awards Tracey.

As long as we don't become "Hull City Tigers" I don't mind what the company is called.

Just seems strange that that's changed and now this badge has appeared.

The club will be monitoring the fans reaction with a view to a change if it there are no riots.

in 20 years times we will the the Hull City Tigers (sorry if that makes me said moron again), Cardiff will be the Cardiff City Dragons, etc, etc. It is called progress and if it is good enough for proper rugby and cricket (in one of its competitions), then who are we to stand in the way of such progress.
And for those who complain, this is the result of the Murdoch millions, which were going "to be so good for the game". You sell your collective soul to an ugly, ozzie who presided over the worst violations in newspaper "journalism", including Kelvin Mackenzie being given employment - you get a football culture which is mostly interested in foreign markets, not the typical fan
