Some plank on sevcomedia is claiming some kind of victory over the comparative viewing figs for Peterhead game on Sky 1 as opposed to Celtic Aberdeen game at CP this season on ESPN. 1. ESPN requires a further subscription of £10 pm and viewing figs are always much lower than Sky. 2. There was of course a freak show curiosity over the Peterhead game. Wait a few months and see what the viewing figures are. 3. An example of a true Celtic game. 13 April 2011 away to Aberdeen. 387,000. Would be interesting to get comparative figures for Sky ESPN combined to compare global viewing figs for old, now defunct rfc and Celtic with the 125 years history.
If Rangers were such a world wide club everybody wanted to see , why did nobody come in and save them ???
I see the point Alba, I get it I think and i'm not having a dig at you, i'm equally guilty of pointing out things like this, I was laughing at us all.
The Rangers media have moved on from attendances to sky viewing figures , not one has had the brains to work out figures are always down when the games are shown on espn , and comparing viewing figures they have forgotten the Olympics were on . As for great viewing figures for Peterhead v Rangers , well the whole of Scotland tuned in , for laughing value and it turned out to be the right choice .
They couldn't even muster £5.5m between them. I thought EDGE would have stepped in with a late bid. Must have spent all his money on his wife's shoes...
