Please tell me this is bad journalism. http://www.goal.com/en/news/596/exc...tun-liverpool-by-asking-for-anfield-exit-this
I noticed the lack of direct quotes etc, but the thing that was slightly worrying was the source they 'claim' to have. However poor goal.com is for rumours, surely they wouldn't publish a downright lie?
I think like most other footy websites they make stories up tbh,but like you say mate lets hope its bs.
http://www.goal.com/en/news/12/spai...e-barcelona-to-sign-david-villa-from-valencia Another blatant goal.com lie. David Villa did not sign for Barca for a year after this. Source my arse.
I looked at this 'journalist' on twitter and he's a Spurs fan, saying also that Spurs have beaten Arsenal to Vertonghen... Right.
Realistically I can imagine a few teams, especially Bayern Munich, being interesting in Agger and Skrtel.
Not to wum or anything but I could see a few players being frustrated with the calibre of player you have bought in. If I saw downing, adam and carroll coming in I would be pretty depressed about the chances for progression. At least with us people like RVp will know if wenger spends then he will spend on quality more likely than not.
Its about now that this kind of story turns up. With the season nearly up there is very little for football writers to write about, so they start making stuff up from stories heard from someone else, who heard it from someone else etc. Its blanket journalism, the more stories they put out the more chance they might actually hit on something true.
Wenger will buy a few more kids this summer and over rely on them until they're either **** (Ramsey) or injured (Wilshere) and RVP will be off to a club which'll win something. I doubt Podolski will be the big signing which makes him think he'll achieve anything other than the Emirates cup...
What is it with arsenals physios anyway? Players seem to stay out for so long, and they're always "2 weeks away" for about 6 months...
