Yes, a very nice man. I used to meet him on the train back from away matches fairly often in the 60s. Always chatted, always tried to make me less shy with him. Les Barrett was another who was really kind - nice to see him in one of the clubs reminiscence slots recently - still quiet and unassuming - he was a great winger.
