These players are supposed to be class and talented and so on . Why then is is necessary to cheat your way to a win . They really let themselves down with their antics SHAME on them
Gerrard was the same when we played Liverpool the second season last time around in the top flight I seem to remember. Premier League, where all that glitters is not gold!
No complaints about the result or overall performance yesterday, but we have to learn to adapt quickly to the tricks of the Premier League. Yes Torres dived (and should have been booked) and as for Ivanovic pulling the wall out of the way - surely that is a fouls as well - but it is one refs either never see or give.
Absolutely no point in complaining about simulation, especially so early in the Season. Unfortunately, there's going to be many players who use simulation to their advantage throughout the Season; that's the Premier League. If we're complaining so early in the Season, it's going to be a long, long Season of complaints.
If Suarez is still on Merseyside by then, playing Liverpool should be fun... Same with Spurs and Bale.
This word "simulation". What the **** is it for ? It's diving...cheating...being a ****. Where did the word 'simulation',come from ? Let's find the ****er and kill him.
The issue i have is that most people are saying we have to accept it, i don't think as a nation we should accept it, i will criticize our players just as much for diving as the oppositions. Something surely needs to be done about it, if we just accept it, and the pundits start accepting, the media do, we will have no chance and it will just get worse.
In relation to the challenge, to paraphrase David Pleat on commentary: "Torres has got close, the Hull lad hasn't stuck his leg out, there has been no contact and Torres has ridden the challenge. Yep, for me, I'd have given a free kick" WTF?!!
The majority of Chelsea fans would tell you it was a free kick to them,PL mindset, brainwashed by their stars, can't do nowt wrong, etc etc Top level sport is like this now....look at Broad in the Ashes, knew he hit it and just stood their with the best poker face I've ever seen... Cheaters never prosper??? Bullsheeeeeet!
at the end of the day, Torres dived / was cheating - in fact Torres fell to the floor when McGregor glanced his cheek - more diving - the FA should stamp this out and ban him for a match, they'll soon stop falling all over the place - the ref clearly didn't see the Torres dive for the free kickit but deciided to give it anyway - there was major pushing in the wall - the ref didn't see that either, where the hell was he looking - having said that Brady gave a pen away at the other end so it probably evened itself up but too many poor decisions - is this really the best we have from refs
I blame the ref's, I know they are only human but this kind of cheating is common place and by rewarding it they are just encouraging players to do it even more
