It seems we are the main show when it comes to negative headlines particularly during these bloody boring international breaks.

Spare a thought for our fellow promotion newbies and their problems.

A problem shared is a problem halved or so they say. :emoticon-0105-wink:

    I prefer: -

"Share a problem and make some other bu££er miserable as well."

Hope VT doesn't get ideas above his station once he sees that headline.

Missionary or Mercenary? Saviour or Opportunist?

Maybe misguided in the opinions of many fans, but at least he's been a local up there for over 40 years with local business interests.......now which of those opinions would you apply to our own guy?

Heard an interview with Dr Allam last night. Didn't come across very well at all. Basically saying it was his business and no-one would question his decisions.

Don't know if it was a pop at us, but he did say 'I have no intention of changing the colours we play in'.

“Having been deprived of opportunities to acquire the stadium freehold, which would have enabled us to create the infrastructure in the surrounding area, we will now need to focus on generating commercial income from elsewhere. A shorter club name will hopefully enable us to do so, with a stronger, quicker marketing impact all over the world.”

Shorter club name will make us marketable! What are these people on!!

But it is hardly necessary for marketing purposes. They could be just called the "Tigers" for marketing of the brand. That does not mean the name actually needs to be changed.

Perhaps someone has already registered the trademark "Tigers" in isolation so the "Hull" bit is still needed for effective marketing.

I have a little experience in this as doing a rebrand in work at present.
