I do remember that game as I was there but my memory is not selective. I also remember some thug called Walsh assaulting David Geddes, fracturing his cheek bone, and receiving something like a 12 week suspension in the days when suspensions were more in keeping with the crime. Oh, and Shrewsbury won that game despite that.
Ian Wright was a non lge player til he played for Palace, then Arsenal, then England. You know FA **** head
You even got that wrong - It was 11 games and the length of the ban reflected repeat offending rather than that specific offence The game was yesterday - You have no business on the Championship board now - Kindly return to the L1 board
We're used to beating teams from higher divisions & do so on a regular basis. All on our meagre budget, too! You never know, Hull could be next on the list?!
I ve been out and come back thinking this thread would be dead, but obviously all the knobs from the Hull board are still here.... Get a ****ing grip and a life, **** off and play yer little childish games on another site. Don't you get the hint that yer really not wanted on our board. You offer **** all regarding decent debate and yer like a bunch of ****ing moronic kid......now, one last time...**** OFF !!!
The ' Daily Star' have run an article on Steve Bruce on their front page and it says 'The former Black Cats Chief, now in charge at DIVISION ONE Hull City'. Do you think they've realised your potential .....sorry but their not my words but from a National Paper, you couldnt write it.... Well, you obviously can
Calm down young fella-me-lad, you'll do yourself an injury. It's quite simple really Leicester lost 2-0 to Shrewsbury so we all get to laugh at you. It's in the rules.
And when hull lose we'll replay the favour - simples! As long as your over zealous moderator (not saying which) doesn't start banning people
There's only one poster banned from the Hull board, there's loads of Hull posters banned from this board, if you're looking for over zealous mods, I think you need to look rather closer to home.
No guilt at all, AKCJ was a complete numpty who ignored numerous warnings and deserved his ban. The same is true of our posters who've been banned on here, who I'm sure Proud will list if you ask him nicely.
That's because, for the most part, the Leicester fans stick to this forum. The Hull fans, in a desperate attempt to gain respectability by associating with a much larger rival, are all over our forum all the time. So naturally more of your lot are going to get banned.
"In 1986 he received an eleven match ban after smashing the jaw of striker David Geddis, whilst playing for Leicester against Shrewsbury" I wasn't specific. I did say "something like" 12 weeks which virtually amounts to eleven games. The quote above makes no mention of past misdemeanours being taken into account. Incidentally, Gay Lineker nominated that 5-2 as his favourite game at Filbert Street. I wouldn't argue as far as Shrewsbury matches that I have witnessed is concerned. The game had everything and a few minutes on MOTD could not do it justice. As far as being on Championship boards, I should apologise but I had no idea that the moderators had made it a prerequisite of membership that you should stick to your own league
