this will be a toughie of a game. Exeter unbeaten in 8 games with 18 points from 24 face a shrewsbury side who have taken 19 from 24. however town are without 2 key players on Saturday, and dom smith is recalled from tamworth.

Exeter came from 2-0 down to beat luton away 3-2 last saturday, they are good at that as they came from 2-0 down at home to salop and thumped us 3-2 in November. they stopped our winning run, will they do it aqain!

who will replace our 2 key suspended players and will our winning formation change. originally thought 2-2 draw but go for 3-2 to town. att 6776

the druids nephew worth an e/w bet on the national was 12/1 betting bound to harden

This is a fascinating game mainly because we do not know who will replace Goldson and Woods or whether there will be a change of formation. I would stick with 3-5-2 and bring Dom Smith in with Clarke replacing Woods. From the highlights I have seen Exeter attack at pace so we need some quick replacements. A draw would not be a disaster in the overall scheme of things - the teams just below us are not going to win all their games to the end of the season and I reckon 84 points will be enough to get automatic promotion.
Unfortunately I cannot make this one as I have to take my daughter back to university but I have just bought my ticket for the Cheltenham game as I predict we will go up on that day.
AJ - agree with you on the Druid's Nephew having a good chance in the National though I think Rocky Creek will win and Rebel Rebellion is the best outsider.

I bought two tickets for Cheltenham game. We've got g86 and 87 if you're nearby give us a wave!

I think we might see 442 on Saturday with Gayle, Ellis, Grandison, Demetriou across the back. Would that mean JLAA and Vincent on the wings with Lawrence and Grant in the middle. Or would it be JLAA and Grant on the wings with Lawrence and Clarke in the middle?

I have not received my Cheltenham ticket yet but I will pop over to say hello. I suspect you are right about the formation though I think we may get a surprise selection in midfield like Mangan who does link the play well. I doubt if Vincent will feature (more likely Caton or Ginelly) as MM seems to have made his mind up about him as he did about Wildig (not that I am criticising as MM has made some tough decisions to change the mentality of the side into that of a winning one).

Plymouth expects every man to do his duty today. Please don't let them finish higher than us in the league. It's just that they go on and on about it for years if they do.

To be fair to them they looked like they were going nowhere not long ago but suddenly here they are knocking on the playoffs and looking strong now. Loads of Plymouth fans writing all sorts of derogatory remarks but now having anal twinges. You gotta larf ain't you. Just make sure you win today.

It's going to be a tough job today with 2 key players absent through suspension.

Lets not have excuses before kick off please. There is plenty of time for that after the game.

Great result today. Couldn't fault any of the players today. Southern and Clark both fitted in well. In fact some were calling for southern to get MoM. It's a shame other results kept the table the same!

Aj - sorry for your loss. Hope all is okay with you and the family.

We could've of scored a couple more but we didn't want to embarrass them too much after they'd made such a long trip. Hope they finish beneath you after our efforts.
