Apparently the rumour has started because he attended the game against Crystal Palace. He seems to bottle it when the going gets tough, so woul dbe gobsmacked if he went to Pomopey given their financial restraints. I have warned them on their board about Coppell - managed wind up a few Saints fans by suggesting Adkins might be interested in a bigger club - can't think why??
That was really funny too. BBC reporting that it isn't going to be Coppell now although he was interviewed. Surprising really 'cos it could have saved us a few bob, SC could have recycled the former SC tracksuits!
