If we get yann m'vila and sell rvp:
    1) Will that be the end of our summer shopping?
    2) If so will you be satisfied (if not what else do we need)?
    3) Where do you expect us to finish (assuming our summer shopping is done)?

I hope we do bid for M'Vila because i think we need an out and out DM.

As for RVP, I'm adamant that we should keep the ungrateful ****er and make him see out his contract.

I don't think we are done yet, I think there are still some depth issues that need addressing.

I won't be satisfied, personally, I would like to see us sign a new CB and push Vermaelen LB.

I think we'll finish 3rd again, or possibly slip down to 4th.

Vermaelen hates playing at LB and isn't a very good one

    Gibbs, Santos?
Anyway I see us finishing 2nd ahead of an aging United.
Winning the FA Cup, League Cup Semi-finalists and Champions League Semi-finalists as well.

I'd like us to sign one more player if we signed a new DMF, I'd like to see us purchase an attacking midfielder, I think we are pretty short in that area. Yes we have Rosicky, but you can't go into a season just expecting him to take the load for the whole season, the same with Wilshere, the guy's coming back from a 1 year lay off, so I'd say we need an additional creative midfielder to help with the load and to compete for places.

It originates from the site wearethenorthbank. The guy is pretty rekiable but the deal is still unlikely and we have simply made an inquiry nithing more.

A guy I know in Brazil was raving about Ganso a year or two ago. I've heard Manure are the favorites to sign him based on all the rumours about a deal last season. People now saying Spurs want him (lol).

If Arsenal sign him I would be bloody amazed. He would solve our creativity issues for sure, but we'd have to pay 30 million or more. I can't see Wenger doing that.

Not at all, I thought he played ok. The only game he looked really bad in was against Manchester United, where he was violated by Antonio Valencia. Apart from that, he did well.

What's easy to forget is that LB is an extremely hard position to master, that's why you don't see many good young LB's at the moment. He will need a good run of games to adapt and a lot of training to play consistently well.

Playing LB will allow him to use his attacking tenancies to better effect and not leave us as exposed at the back as he currently does playing as a CB.

I don't think it should matter that he doesn't like playing there, if he does a good enough job, he should be played there, put the team ahead of individuals.

Two of the most shambolic LB's around at the moment. Not good enough.

I wouldn't actually be so sure about that

Shambolic? Gibbs had a very good season. Santos started poorly but after a run of games played well before his injury.

Neither of them had good seasons.

They are both liabilities and cost us goals with poor positioning.

They both attack far too much leaving us exposed at the back, and if one of them happens to be attacking at the same time as Vermaelen, we concede stupid goals. Take a look at the own goal against Liverpool that Koscielny was forced to score, and the goals we conceded at QPR.

Both are very bad defenders, and I can't even give the excuse to Gibbs that he is young and learning, because he shows absolutely no signs of improvement.

Gibbs has improved every season. He needs to improve a bit more to have a future at the club, but he's almost there already.

Define 'that' level, because he's been very good.

Arsegun's comment of "but he's almost there already".

I just can't agree that Gibbs has been good, he has cost us far too many goals.
