bloody hell guys, i've came onto the stoke board for the very first time just to wish you guys well in europe and to say congratulations... and i'm well and truly shocked to read some of the posts on here moaning about tony pulis... from an outsider looking in, he's done a marvellous job at Stoke and i can't believe there are people here saying they want him out! with the greatest respect, you need to look at teams like Charlton with Curbishley and Middlesborough with McLaren to see that sometimes getting rid of a man who has made you a solid mid-table premiership team is really not a good idea, just because you think the grass might be greener. just had to put that out there, it seems that some of your fans have forgotten what it's like to be in League 1.
Jeezon cheers for the well wishes and I respect you comments on TP. But he is the most frustrating manager ever. He is ok to a certain degree but could be a whole lot better if he was not so stubborn and set in his ways. If he lost some of his negativity he would be a top manager!
Jeezon Just got home from the game, had a few halfs too celebrate a fantastic win for the Mighty Potter's tonight. Good result agaisnt in honesty, an average side, at best. WE DID what we had to and I'm happy as Larry that we are now through to the group stage's... something we've NEVER done before. A great post and I'm with Waddo. I DON'T want T.P. out, I just wish he was more positive in many ways. We NEED player's urgently IMHO anyway. And, it isn't looking at the minute like we're about to do that. If we don't with the greatest of respect to you. Both Waddo and I see Stoke play every week and I honestly think we're in for a tough old season. UNLESS we sign a couple of good midfield player's. I do think T.P. has done extremly well, with OUR squad so far. I only want us too improve a little.. if that's asking too much. Then I'm sorry for being greedy. Happy for now but come back after our next five or six games and I hope we're not around the bottom three. And we know what it's like which, is exactly why both I and Waddo don't want to go back there. Good luck to Liverpool, apart from two games of course.
