Too big a match to take gambles.

I see this, it can work. Highly skilled individual, good positioning sense, tall, didn't look out of place against a very potent Everton line up. Also, permits us to play all of our skilled players; JDG and Leon, with the fast three (Pablo, Wayne, Nathan) buzzing behind Michu. I don't know Bradford's shape but if they only have one up front we could play with three at the back.

If we get possession of the ball, Bradford may never touch it unless they kickoff.

Needless to say this is going to be a fascinating game to watch, a vast contrast in technical abilities and football styles.

Unless he has all of a sudden shown some bite in his tackling in training I truly hope this is just paper talk. Would rather Tate than this idea. That said Laudrup has yet to steer us badly, but I have my reservations!!

Despite his size, Ki is not great in the air. Also, he is just not physical enough. Hansen will beast him mercilessly and that will distract Ash from his own job. I have a sneaking preference for Bartley and would definitely prefer Monk to Ki at the back.

Perhaps Laudrup is reasoning that with this line up Bradford will rarely get the ball to trouble us - but it only takes a couple of seconds to score a goal; one decent cross, an unlucky bounce of the ball, a goalmouth scramble and we could be chasing the game. Ah well, what do I know? Despite my reservations, I will always trust Michael Laudrup's judgement.
