Can't figure out why we signed him but then again is he any worse than Hall or Gabbidon?

True, so why did we give him a new deal?

 

probably the same reason as a few others..cheap.
Too be fair to Dan he was good, but to be brutally honest he just isnt good enough and if he was we wouldnt have picked him up for nothing.

 

He wasn't that bad at Bolton when he played for us.

Would of been a brick wall for Davies.

 

If he's no good at this level, why did we re-sign him? Waste of money if he's not gonna play.

He would of stopped you conceding 4 goals yesterday, like I said, one of the very few defenders who could keep Kevin Davies quiet for a game.

 

so the plan should have been sign Dan for the two games against Bolton..job done!

 

He IS good cover admittedly

 

We have a soft spot for Dan as he always gave 100% for us and he loves the club.But i'm afraid he just isnt good enough for the prem imo.

I think it was quite evident that Bolton had improved defensively and offensively from the end of last season, despite losing Sturridge.

 

I think the question is where the **** was Gorkks??? Our best defender imo and didn't make the bench!!
