Wow, his post match comments were really scathing towards his team: "It hurts me and I won't forget about this when we hit the motorway, but some might," said 45-year-old Sherwood. "There's a lack of character, too many of them are too nice to each other and you need to show a bit more guts." "The club talks about fourth - wake up," said Sherwood. "You won't finish in the top four if you don't beat top teams. You're miles away unless you beat the top teams." "We owe the fans a performance," he said. "We let them down again on the big occasion." Sometimes it would be nice for Wenger to come out and say this, I'm sure if we had lost 4-0 to Chelsea in a similar manner to Spurs, Wenger would be on about how 4-0 'didn't reflect the game' and how we were 'unlucky' and how the 'red card changed the game'.
I disagree -what's said in the dressing room should stay in the dressing room. If Wenger did say anything like this, the press would turn it into a witch hunt out of all proportion. Sherwood may just about get away with this as he is NOT Wenger.
