Those few short moments, the delivery of the words and the words themselves came over as if he had been hit in the gob with a wet cod !
I am talking about the after match comment of our LEE ………..

LETS NOT GET to negative about the situation at the gate...……………….. but

" we will sell if the price is right" the backroom contingent … irrespective of whether they will weaken the team either by failing to or getting replacements not yet ready or of lesser quality..... this aspect is not of LEE's doing it is to do with making ends meet / ffp…………

LEE seemed very uncomfortable at the short deliverance of his after game summary, and likely knows now he is going to be up against it in the short term.
you are 2-0 down and have EISA and NICLAS on the bench! so you bring on Taylor and O'dowda ? SO WHO WILL START Tuesday Eisa, Niclas and Weimann in a 4-3-3?
I had us down for 8 points in AUGUST [ JUST ME AND SQUASHER predicted the month by month tally ] and we have 2 games left! so still attainable !!!!!

From what we have seen so far JG you me and City are going to get nowhere near those 8 points this month.

should we be lucky not to receive a rebound from QPR we could likely pinch 1 from Swansea before they get going !
it already looks that the big hitters are digging in at the top 8 positions although Bolton seems to be above their weight at the moment

Does anybody think Lee is starting to realise that perhaps all his predecessors had to deal with the same culture behind the scenes that limits, or completely curtails, the possibility of a manager succeeding? Perhaps he should have sought the counsel of Steve Coppell. From what I have gleaned so far we will not be competitive this season, and the signs aren't looking any better, so perhaps we need another 5 year plan. Are we asking too much of our owner to perhaps take a second look at his business plan because although it has addressed infrastructure very well, from what I can tell from this distance it doesn't appear to include the paying punters. Getting a bit tired of the same old stuff to be perfectly blunt.

As I've said before Mike, it appears to me that Lansdown is quite happy with a second division team, and is content with making loads of money from hospitality and match day food and drink. Plus the revenue from rugby of course.

City attendances have increased significantly since the stadium revamp, and we've sold £20m plus of talent to offset some of the costs. At this rate the stadium will have paid for itself in a another couple of years.

I can fully understand the point of a business plan that is based on profit because that's what makes the world turn and yet there must be a more overall beneficial way of getting it right. Has anyone else noticed that the business world is all consumed by profit and to hell with customer service because why bother with the paying public when there's always someone else to fill the void? The quality of the final product has diminished over the years (not just at Ashton Gate) and when customers make a noise about the lousy stuff that they are constantly expected to support they get the runaround followed by corporate statements and ideology.

Regrettably in today's world most people look the other way and rather than make a fuss they stay silent and you only have to google Rotherham and Rochdale to get my point, but then again that is a different story. Paying good money for mediocrity has become the order of the day and if you don't like it the get lost.

    from LEE ……

"It wasn’t good enough in the first half. We weren’t aggressive enough, we’re patching up in certain areas and we need to adjust that in the market where possible," bad sign making excuses,/ contradiction

"I thought Lloyd Kelly was fantastic given the fact he's 19 years old, playing at centre-half against one of the most physical teams in the division. a good sign for the future

But we played into their hands too easily. We didn’t play forward early enough, we didn’t get down the sides. bad sign why didn't he play Niclas?

"My biggest point was forward passing. I’ve played a million games like that where you’re against a good side who defend well, have strength and fans looking at it from the air can see the space. When you’re down there you can only see a series of opposition faces in your way. come off it LEE a million! lol :emoticon-0105-wink:

the interesting aspects of the game seem to be the team playing as Lee wants [or trying to] but the wrong players at the wrong time? would it have been better to have played MO and NICLAS from about 60 minutes onward? he states "we didn’t get down the sides." and from what we have seen both these players do well down the sides [ MO less so agreed ]

we are chrysalis awaiting the time to burst out and do something …. hopefully not in MARCH!

Strangely enough angelic guess what was around my back garden yesterday evening? I didn't actually see it but the stench was just awful and it just seemed to sum up what's going on with our team of choice, especially when you know where the smell is coming from but can't find the source. We are also under a cloud of wildfire smoke which makes life more difficult and it seems all the prognoses of doom and gloom will continue at Loftus Road tomorrow.

Why do we have so many injury issues so early in the new season, is it down to poor conditioning or training because it's becoming a bit of a joke?

Terrible, continuous problem, surely it's not just bad luck our team is having.
