Shearer or Salas

if you had to choice to sign one of them who would it be and why, tough choice this, but i would pick Shearer because he would've improved us and he would've won more league titles with us.

 

who is salas? gazza or shearer would be better.

To be honest, andy cole was better than sheaer anyway

 

He use to be a striker who play for Chile.

I saw Salas play for Chile at Wembley in 98. The big story that day was Michael Owen's international debut but Salas grabbed the headlines.

In answer to the question though, Shearer. We'd have won even more if we'd signed him.

 

This, i remember we tried to sign him 3 times ( correct me if i'm wrong ).

Oh look, another "who would you choose" thread from matth, I didn't see that coming...

I have to ask though, why compare Salas to Shearer? Salas was just a decent striker in Europe, he did pretty well for Lazio and failed miserably at Juventus (he didn't play for Inter).

we tried to get him when he was at Southampton then he went to Blackburn, i'm sure Jack Walker told him not to join us i could be wrong on that one though.
