Billy sharp has gone on loan to Forest. Hard lines for the lad. Suppose he arguably did his job, probably doesn't fit into the system and I suppose the intelligent money is that he wouldn't have cut it in the premiership. Would have been nice if he had been given a chance though. Will always remember his brace against Pompey.

Guly creates his own chances though, and scores his fair share. Plus it looks like he fit's into the system more naturally. Still think it's tough on Sharp though.

I don't think he moved other than for personal reasons as it has been reported earlier that he wanted to move back closer to yorkshire

Indeed good luck to him and his partner. What a roller coaster of a year they have had. Forest have a gem there

    *Sad face*

I'm gutted to see him go but good luck to him! He should score plenty of goals for Forest.

baffling really, fair enough if he needs to head back up north but if it is because we don't think he's good enough then we should of waited to loan him after the window shuts to give him a chance. We haven't got a full 25 man squad as it is. There was no panic. Maybe Hoopers coming in January after Celtic come bottom of their CL Group!!

Must admit i wasnt his biggest fan when he first signed, but really think he at least deserved a crack at the prem as he played a huge part in getting us there. Good luck billy, really think nige has made a big mistake in letting you go

Noone really knows what he is capable of. It seems we are building a strong young side for the future and Rodriguez was our preferred attacking choice.
