    I was lucky enough to meet Shank's and like all of our supporters was in awe of him, living at the time 10 minutes away from Melwood it was entirely down to him that 'anyone' that turned up to watch the reds train was allowed to do so.

    We'd be **** all without his management, Bob won many trophies but without Shanks choosing him as coach/magic sponge man and his number two bob would probably have moved back to his native north east in the 60's.

    Happy Birthday Shanks, Manager of Liverpool FC and man of the people.
