Have not seen it myself (its on Twitter) but apparently 4 prem clubs have placed bids for Shane Long with Reading pricing him at 10 million and the mags could be one of them according to SSN. Don't really know too much about him but he is not worth that kind of cash and the mags will certainly not have bid that much if they have. Anybody know much about him/rate him at all.
We'd never bid £10m for Long, Ashley is still being quite tight and careful not to overpay for players so far this summer, even with the money from Carroll. Also got this off twitter, he's generally pretty good but is re tweeting a journalist:
