I wonder if this is because it looks like Pearsons ready to work again. Both deserve it, Shakey and Walshs relationship with CR is not as fractured as people expected when he first arrived, Walsh was trusted by CR to sign Kante and Shakeys constantly in Ranieris ear matchdays.
This would be great news, especially with all the speculation around Walsh and Arsenal earlier this season. Both have certainly got good reason to stay, and good on them for staying even when Pearson left!
I'd say it was because they're clearly good & other clubs have suddenly taken notice. They've been working well with Ranieri & we don't want to lose them.
