Now that I have your attention, Pompey Ladies play their last game of the season tomorrow. They need just one point to secure the league title but if they don't draw or win, they'll come second as Brighton will beat Keynsham. The match is at Privett Park, kick off is at 2pm and entry is free (although donations are encouraged) so there's no excuse not to come! Unless you lives miles away like me.

Just read that Pompey Ladies beat West Ham Ladies 3-1 today to be named champions Did I read correctly that they now have a play-off match against Southampton Ladies, to hopefully win promotion ? If so, what a liberty
Sheffield, not Southampton I'm afraid. Sheffield are pretty good and beat us in the League Cup a while back. Seeing as both sides won their respective leagues but only one can get promotion and the consequences of not being promoted could be catastrophic (read Leeds United LFC), it's basically the football equivalent of the Hunger Games.
