With all the money the owners are spending and the fact they say they want the fans to be happy, could they sort out the service at the concourse? Im sure im not the only person who thinks the service is shocking. If you want to get down for a something to drink and eat you have too miss ten minutes of the game you have paid to watch! There are so many things that could be done to improve the matter but we have been suffering like this for years now and it never improves. Surely with all the improvements they are making which i am very greatfull for this should be sorted, plus they are missing out on alot of revenue from it.
Agreed Could we also get some noodles on the menu! Proper food! That would make change instead of the f*****g awful ****e they call hot dogs and burgers.
What I hate is that they stop serving after half time! I wen't downstairs to get a drink from the baking heat only to remember the ****ers work about half an hour a week! It's ludicrous I tell you, ludicrous!
simple- like at twickenham just have pre-poured pints. Why all sports stadiums dont do this ill never understand.
a ten minute wait is too long...they should have a suggestion box for ideas on how to speed up service...the queuing is pathetic....it stems from the fact alot of the staff are young and inexperienced and part time....there appears to be little advanced planning..and any real organisation...the layouts behind the the bars / counters is chaotic and all wrong..im not bragging but i could cut waiting times in half given the chance...it ain't brain surgery....
Yeah I think I could have a fair crack at it as well. One thing that infuriates me is that you ask for something then they walk about 15 metres to pick it up They should all have their own little section where they have a booze tap, an oven for the pies and a stand for the crisps. Job done.
Not just me then!!! ive been to many grounds now with machines that pull about 20 pints in a few seconds why dont we have those? Also why do we have one kiosk that sells (if they have it) wine and cider yet others dont? I have been to so many grounds where getting served is quick and painless, its unreal to think how behind we are. As a retail group surely the owners realise the faster they serve, the more they sell and the more money they make or do they just not realise how bad it is?
i would have to be there 6 hours to get hammered ...not good enough....a letter to ms. whelan is in order....
i write a mean letter...no worries....i will be inside her pants by the end of the week.......ive just heard the elephant mascot has been laid off at ricoh...they can't afford his new suit....shame...
JC You will have to remove Sven first! Also what job! dressed as an elephant for the afternoon! that would be great, even if for just one afternoon in August! applications please?
and please God ........ they should throw the inedible pasties away when they have stood warming for 5 hours and have a bottom crust harder that Waggys chest.
The service is ****ing shocking with brain dead morons behind the counters who are so slow they make Howard look fast. It's simple - half time approches so get pouring50/60 odd beers 3/4's full and top them up as soon as required. Keep the areas open all through the game and after sell off anything that needs selling off (hot pies burger etc). People don't stop eating and drinking because the second half has started. They are losing a decent revenue stream here.
Jesus - The poor service on concourses really pisses me off - I've been saying this for years - The lazy, no good, soap dodging bastards they have serving won't work unless you kick em - As everyone posts, the club are losing a fortune in lost sales by not addressing this - Johnfallen, you have accepted the challenge of righting this wrong - Just bag up when you meet Ms Whelan (You don't get that high up without spreading a little honey around)
yeah, smash her back doors in over the borad room table whilst looking at the picture of Lineker......life don't get much better.
I gave up on the concources a long while ago. Terrible service, over-crowded areas, pig awful food and ridiculous prices. I take my own grub now and something for the little one
