Man C (a) W. Ham (h) Newc (a) C. Palace (h) Liv (a) W. Brom (a) Swans (h) Sund (a) Fulh (h) Man U (h) So seriously then In these upcoming ten Games, how many points will we see, 3, 4 games at home At the Delia Dome Must surely give a chance for three So twelve then with luck And if we can pluck Two or maybe more points away, To add to the eight We have on this date Twenty-two we´d have halfway to May Optimistic, maybe Over so, no, hardly And it´s the only way we can think, For if not, why go And support each new show There´s light there, even if just a chink That´s proven, I´d say With Ruddy today Who´d not have taken four more years, If he´d feared the worst That our bubble had burst So to him alone, I give a These two months to come Till Christmas is done Especially when at Carrow Road, Should gladden the stands Let´s grab with both hands The chance to help lighten the load. Holy fire. We're riddled with injuries, several pretty serious, we're in the bottom three of our league - I don't quite see how dressing it up in verse can possibly make things any better? More important things to worry about rather than what rhymes with what. Just saying.
Really - don´t see anything wrong with keeping the faith do you? I could be like a lot of others on here, and paint a picture that´s as black as sin, but prefer not to, thank you very much, and I´m certainly not dressing anything up in verse, just my preferred method of communication.
Damn cromer, calm down! I think we should get between 13-17 points, doing that is a completely different matter!
As a neutral, I say 14 points, like so. Man C L W. Ham D Newc D C. Palace W Liv L W. Brom D Swans W Sund D Fulh W Man U D
The injuries are a blow to be sure, but this is a well covered squad of players. Unlike some, I judge by performances not results. Johnson is a decent replacement for Tettey and there are other options, should they be needed. Olsson could move forward to LW if need be, using his pace to challenge opposing FBs. Facing adversity will tell us a lot about this squad. Have a listen to what Rusty said at the presser today: http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...hard-working-Norwich-can-improve-on-last-year
Don't you worry RBF, plenty of us old 'uns are keeping the faith AND enjoying your verse! Great stuff sir! regards and usual treat to the King!
I'd probably have assigned the points slightly different, but it has to be 12 points + really. As to the injuries, in the Pre-Man City conference, Hughton confirmed Tettey is out, but has refused to rule out either Snodgrass or Redmond, so there's certainly a chance one or both will be back in contention for next week, and I'd hope Hooper and RvW will be close to match fitness by then. The only real concern then is Johnson's form, which hopefully a run of games can remedy. This weeks side might be a bit makeshift, but we weren't expecting any kind of positive result anyway so it's no great loss, but hopefully we'll be back to a reasonable strength by next week, when the games start to get really important.
For Citeh (4 1 3 1 1 diamond) Ruddy Whitaker Bassong Turner Olsen Johnson Murphy Howson Pilkington Hooper Wolf (Toe should be sorted he was sub last week with this issue, if not Elmander) Subs : Bunn, R.Bennet, Martin, Garrido, Becchio Hoolahan. Wolf/Elmander We look a little short but is a difficult ask when at strength. Then following West Ham, an international break so should make it all better.
It's very easy to see things as the worst case scenario after Tuesday; the worst that could happen is that we get more injuries, lose more games, play poorly and relegated. This seems to be what many people think will happen and it may happen but it is also equally as possible that we could win some games, play well as a team and stay in the premier league. It could go either way and we don't know what's going to happen. Johnson, for example has been bad so far this season, but was excellent last season so in theory could play well or could not. We have two choices; we can assume that we will keep losing and that we will go down or we can believe that we are going to start winning games, I don't really think it matters either way but if you believe in fate then Norwich will play as they will regardless of whether you think they will fail or triumph so you might as well be an optimist or a pessimist, depending on which makes you happier. I know which one does it for me, OTBC COME ON YOU YELLOWS!!

Mr. Martin - naturally there are some that will always fear the worst, just as there are some who will always believe in the best, but that anyone (#2) can get themselves into a state over a harmless thread like this does make you wonder. Yes, we´re 3 from bottom and we´ve got a few injuries, but we´ve only just reached November, and despite our position we´re only 3 pts off 9th, and playing well. If this was March and we were 10 pts adrift at the bottom, then I would understand the need for some concern. Brutally speaking, all we need to do is go up one more place and then stay there until May, and we´d have had a satisfactory season - no, it wouldn´t be a good season, and no, it wouldn´t be the season we were all hoping for, but realistically speaking, how many here wouldn´t take 17th if that was where we ended up. This just seems to reinforce the point I made a few weeks ago, that some people on here have set their expectations far too high, and just because at the moment they don´t look like being met, they´re getting themselves in a real tizz. for what it´s worth: Man C - L W. Ham - D Newc - W C. Pal - W Liv - L W. Brom - D Swans - W Sund - D Ful - D Man U - D
No problem - but can´t you see us getting 3 pts in the 3 games leading up to the New Year, I can. Maybe the win at Newc is stretching it a bit, but I just fancy CH to do one over on them this year.
I can see us getting 4 from those 3 games, but nothing against Utd, but you never know It's all the others I have a problem with
