Let's hope we all are tomorrow night as we search for our first league double over the Royals since 2000. Now that would be payback.
This for me is one of those pivotal moments.A home game against a tough opposition but a second game of the season that could set six points apart.A must win for me. Tough away encounter for Boro with the donkeylashers and a repeat of the top v bottom Saints/Brizzle game for the Yammers against Coventry and suddenly it all gets exciting.
Bobby - this is a big one no doubt. I've always rated McDermott since he took over from Rodgers, and he will have them up for this. He could be another Coppell for them and take them back to the Prem - hopefully not this year cos it's our turn! Payback is right. After they blew us away in the PO semis at the CCS last year, we need to put the record straight. Tough game, but a clean sheet for us will do me because I think we can score against them no problem.
McNuggets is said to be fit. I think we need to go back to a midfield 5 to have more possession. A draw wouldn't be a bad result and I fancy us to sneak a win. It'll be a tough game though.
Agreed this is a tough one, they have only concede one goal in the last five games and lost two in the past nine games but one of those were down to us remember. We have to start creating a comfort zone and we are on home turf and need to put a wrong right.Reading owe us and I think Malky will have the boys up for this one. If we can contain Kebe and nulify Jobi (wish he was back at City) by roughing him up we can break forward with confidence.
As remote says Bobby, we need to boss the midfield again. I know we got the result against Forest with Miller Gestede and Mason starting, but Reading are a different kettle of fish. We are at home - they will be come to close us down and pinch it. Win the middle of the park and we have the fire power in Miller, Whitts, Gunnar and Cowie to win it.
Yep. Their pace is a real threat and they are coming good at an important time again. According to the reports, Ipswich had a good go at them on Saturday and had Chops and a few of his mates converted their chances, Reading could have been a few goals down by half time. I think it'll be important for us to strike first and keep the pressure on. We don't want to be chasing a game against a side that play on the break so effectively. Gonna be a tough one.
Cling! Your right we have to score first to turn up the pressure for them to push out and change their shape. Also to get the faithfull creating the twelvth man throughout. Hoping for a good turnout tomorrow. If only to see a McNaughton goal.
