Blunderland fans wanted rid of Mcshane, Elmo, Meyler and Graham all of whom have contributed well to us I see no reason why Larsson is any different

Bruce got the best out of Larsson when at Sunderland, what's to say the same won't happen again?

I'd have him here.

I'm a fan of Larsson. This has just made me think, when did we last score a direct free kick? Our free kicks are always ****e aren't they?

Canada, Kempton - I agree with your thoughts about supporting Bruce's decisions, but remember this is just paper talk. Nothing to say we're definitely interested is there?

In fairness apart from when we take over the Benfica stadium in Feb he will probably not play against you again for years-unless you draw a big club in the cup in the 3 years of his contract

Well obviously, i know it's paper talk. The point i really want to get across, is that SB clearly knows better than we do.

But then again, it wouldn't be so much fun if we couldn't all be football experts. It's what we're all about.

Bringing in Larsson, who is a RM isn't he? I'd much rather have Nordin Amrabat, I don't think that he'd be a correct fit for our squad. He isn't fast enough IMO. We are a counter-attacking side and need to move quickly.

Maybe if he was an FAT <laugh>

True!

Had a look at it now.

Salary: 3.72 million EUR (2012)

Probably a bit too steep....... :emoticon-0117-talki

He's a decent proven premier league player. But we have a limited budget for bringing in players.

So is he really enough of a step up from say Quinnesta yo justify spending some of that budget on.

Obviously if we lose Livermore this all changes.

We scored 3 or 4 minimum off the top of my head last year, last one will be one of bradys won't it? Bolton away? I can't remember us having a decent position for one this year, all the free kicks we get are out wide

Most of us wanted Meyler to stay fella. Most of us believe he didn't didn't get a fare run in the team.

Steve Bruce wants to sign Seb Larsson for a THIRD time and is eyeing up a £5million<yikes> swoop for the Sunderland midfielder in January.

Hull boss Bruce is keen to add Larsson to his squad to boost the Tigers' Premier League survival chances.

And he also sees the Swedish international midfielder as the ideal replacement for Jake Livermore, should Tottenham chief Andre-Villas Boas recall the 24-year-old early from a season-long loan deal to the Humberside outfit.

Larsson, 28, is set to out of contract at the Stadium of Light in June and has yet to open talks on a new deal.

And a summer switch to the KC Stadium would tempt Larsson - especially if Hull stay up and the relegation-threatened Black Cats tumble out of the top flight.

He would also relish a re-union with Bruce - a manager he rates highly.

Former Birmingham boss Bruce paid Arsenal £1million to bring Larsson to St Andrew’s six years ago, following a successful four-month loan.

Then, as Sunderland manager, Bruce signed him on a Bosman in July 2011.

When he was at Birmingham and Sunderland but only as cover. If you are good enough you can play anywhere normally.

On a FAT yes. But would not use any of the January budget to get him. In saying that as his contract runs out in the summer Slumberland wont get much for hin anyway in Jan.

Almost MOM @ Swansea on monday night. Only bettered by another Mackem old boy Elmohamady.
No wionder they are bottom of the PL as they sell there best players. Onion Bag (to Wba) being another one). Lol.
