I'm sure a well-supported club with a history as glorious as yours (And not to mention a record of playing great football and lots of top quality signings giving you a real chance of a top 6 finish this season) will have no trouble filling their ground!

Well supported club + glorious history + good football + quality signings + sensible ticket prices = sold out portman road

well supported club + glorious history + utter crap football for the past 7 years + over priced tickets = 10,000 empty seats every week

I applaud Norwich being able to attract enough fans to sell out their smaller stadium in times when they were playing in the third tier, however the circumstances are not that similar. You have been on a rollercoaster ride with many ups and downs. We have just had downs for quite a while. I doubt Norwich fans would have reacted any differently than Ipswich fans after watching so much rubbish.

The advantage that the Budgies have on us is the benefit of family ticket sales. Most of the occupants of their block seating are related in one way or another.

    Rushmere, quality post.

In all honesty thats where the budgies do things better than us, get the kids in for about 5p a match, get them brainwashed and they want to keep going. one filled ground, bob's your uncle (or brother/dad/auntie in their case)

Poor loser Guru still trying to talk big and make up for his personality shortcomings.

Attempting to poke fun a club that is much higher than your own in the league structure is embarrassing on your part dont you think ?

You are like Basil Fawlty who cannot help digging himself deeping into trouble.

How sad and pathetic you are.

    Poor buttercup.

ive got to say that if we pull off these two signings today along with what we've got then we have done a lot better in this transfer window and I would've expected.

To get Stockdale even on a loan is a massive coup and every other player so far is permanent. Makes a massive change from Keane's sides with four or five loan players and it means we have something to build on.

That is only going to put bums on seats and reverse the decline.

What's the deal with this Stockdale fella? Never heard of him until this summer.

Anyone would think he's played at all levels of International football!

Really? I can only assume you don't really follow football then Carra. <laugh>

Played ten games for Fulham last season - at the start of the season and I think when Schwarzer was away on international duty for Australia in January - and he was outstanding. 5 clean sheets from 10 while Schwarzer kept 11 from 33 - and yes he did get two senior England call ups.

    Is that it?

The way you lot and Leeds fans keep going on, I though the was the best keeper in the Premier League.

I look forward to seeing and hearing your fans slate him as soon as he makes a mistake.<ok>

Poor effort Carra. He is a genuinely quality keeper. You would know that if you actually followed football and had seen him play at the least on MOTD. Out of sympathy I suppose we should really let you have him, he's that good he might be able to keep some of your scorelines respectable next season <ok>
