There has been so much demand that the deadline for tickets has been increased by a week http://www.gillinghamfootballclub.com/news/article/deadline-extended-852866.aspx
I'm not happy about this, in fact I'm flaming well P'd off about it! The club set a deadline of 31st May, I actually did not want to order my ST's until exactly that one week later for reason's I ain't going into. However, as a renewal I believed I was forced to buy the ST by the deadline or pay at the higher price. Therefore I purchased on deadline day £705. Come on Gillingham FC get your act together. It's either a deadline or it is not. IMO what you have done is unfair. Why did you not say so before the deadline not after! Also I don't understand this demand is so high scenario. I always assumed, to buy at the reduced price you already had to be a season ticket holder? Personally I smell something coming out of bulls backside about all this. Either way it is WRONG to announce an extension of deadline after the deadline Ranting.
They obviously do. Well as I could not get down the club on deadline day and it was not cost effective, I wonder if I can claim my £5 admin back if I take my id down this week, due to this extension. Erm...I can guess the answer.
No real surprise though they have done this before I think. When I paid for mine there were two people in the booking office hardly a huge demand!
I find it all very strange, there was also no online problems that I personally heard of on deadline day. As I said earlier I ordered mine then, also there was people on twitter who also confirmed ordering their's online and like you state oldsparky at the booking office and no one mentioned any issues. Even IF you have a backlog of applications, you just reassure those applicants. I have noted the club's claim on the official site that they sold more season tickets in a single month than the entire 2012/13 season and applications are flooding in all the time.
