If Musty doesn't change his joker I will make an executive decision. As everyone else has gone for Rotherham I will change his to that game if it goes ahead. Any objections anyone?

A bit of a dilemma this week with the goal time. The goal was scored in the first half but not officially on 45 minutes. It was 45 + 2 which doesn't really exist in a 90 minute match, We have SMH on 45 minutes which is the last minute on the first half clock. We have Plymborn on 46 minutes which is technically nearer when it was 47 if you add the 45 and 2. But, 46 is in the second half and the goal was scored in the first half. Hope you are following this. My inclination is to give full points to SMH as technically it was in the last minute of the first half. However I don't want to upset any of the competitors. Can we have a vote please. Meanwhile I will post the scores without a goal time point award for now.
So, points without goal time are as follows. Top with 14 was Lyndie who desperately needs the points. Next with 12 was Plym. A 3 way tie for the next position was between SMH, Notdistant and Musty with 8 each. AWAYINBC and Sensible had 6 apiece and Joe brought up the rear with 4. All a bit ruined by the cancellations. I changed Musty's joker to the Cambridge game as I said I would as there were no violent objections or even non-violent ones. SMH - 284 Plymborn - 275 Notdistant - 269 AWAYINBC - 264 Sensible - 251 Joe - 247 Lyndie - 219 Musty - 218
thanks. The rules dont allow for the particular circumstances of our goal, therefore, I think they both get the points?
Difficult to be accurate on this. 1.....Does the 45th minute continue until the Ref blows for half time....so it might easily be 5 minutes long. 2.....Does the 90th minute also continue until the ref blows the final whistle......for instance against Wycombe it could be 10 minutes long....although you couldn't argue against who gets the points like at H/T. 3.....But if you have chosen 46 minutes,,,does that mean you get two bites at the cherry ?....so is 45+1 the same as 46 minutes which is the first minute of the second half ?
I don't mind what you do with the score but I have to be pedantic: it's my default setting. Agard didn't score in the 47th minute, he scored in the 45th. It's not that time is added on but that the watch stops when play is suspended. Doesn't really explain why at times we seem to end up.playing the 6th minute of 4 minutes added on though does it? Hope that helps. We could perhaps get Michael Masi in to sort it out. He's good at making up rules as he goes along.
There's always Boris....he could always give us a ruling.....and that all the rules were obeyed in coming to a decision.
Having read the input I think I agree that if you do 46 then you in effect get two goes if we do 45+ whatever. So having had a think I reckon it is SMH on 45 who gets the points and as it includes any extra time then he was spot on with his 45. As it was double points he will do very well out of it. I have amended the points on the board above.
Boxing Day next so please don't expect instant marking. As we speak there are 12 games over two days with one being on the Monday. No need to go mad then so normal points and goal times and one joker. You are going to have to watch the space for postponements and if it affects your joker. Won't be any surprise to see a few bite the dust between now and then.
On reflection this is correct, when I submit the official match report anything that occurs in the first half is recorded as 45 mins at the latest , regardless of how many minutes into injury time it occurred.
