Did anyone see the interview on Sky gillette soccer yesterday before Burnleys game with QPR?

Remember Dyche always gave his all but to me was at best mediocre, but that said he views on how he wants his team to play was to me a good indicator to our style in some ways.

Let me explain, he said that all these modern views on possession football are NOT "the be all and end all", and he thinks too many teams get 'SWAMPED' with keeping possession but playing too slow and going nowhere, ring any bells? Whereas he says he likes to keep possession but encourages his team to be more dynamic, play 'QUICKER' and more the ball 'FORWARD' between the units and have a more attacking cutting edge.

My main complaint with our play has been the constant side to side of our defenders ( some passes even behind each other without any pressure!) and when we finally play out to midfield in field or wide there is no movement up front no 0ne running into or making space and then the midfield/wide turn play back to defenders and it starts again often ending with the opponents pushing on and we play to our keeper who humps it forward! ........and possession lost!

I wasnt at Carlisle had to work but can anyone who was there let me know if we played more in the idea of Dyche than SOD? cheers.

before i get slated this is not meant to be a negative thread after a great relief of a win yesterday, well done players, staff and especially fans, its just i am very interested to see our style in the second half after having what Pemberton said was a 'volley' for the first time in the interval!
