Wroe is more likely to go to South Yorkshire as he has bought a house in Barnsley.

Allegedy Chris Neal is to turn down our offer of a new contract as well time will tell. This will leave us with no goalkeepers! Looks like a summer of rebuilding will be bigger than we thought. With Collins & Sharpes still to decide, potentially we could have lost 8 players from our promotion winning squad. Does this worry you all ? i'm a little concerned.

VodkaVic - welcome back online <ok>

Shrewsie - yes it is worrying that they are all looking at movign on. I thought Neal would sign as he 'loved the club' according to SloppyStar!

I do not think Neal would be a great loss as he has made several howlers away from home and we cannot afford to have a keeper who does that quite so often. I agree SCS and Wroe will be missed but more worrying is Sharps and Collins who are the two we will miss most if they go. We appear to be talking to strikers Ajose (released by Peterborough) and Wiliams (Yeovil) and those persistent Ben Davies rumours are still swirling around (could be something in that as Jacobs of Northampton has long been rumoured to be going to Derby). Whoever leaves I trust in GT to weave his usual magic in the market and to get his players working as a team which got us promotion last year.

Matster - SCS was saying the club was "home" only recently. Now he's left home!

Neal's a good keeper and perhaps others rate him higher than we do - he was named in the L2 team of the season by the Football League Paper last weekend. But they're all replaceable. My main concern is that we get anyone who's going moved out as soon as possible so that we know exactly what we need.

We'll be talking to lots of players that don't sign for us (remember Ashley Grimes a year ago?), as other clubs will be talking to some of ours without signing them.

Main thing is we're a club in a position of some strength, in terms of our league position and finances, and we already have a lot of good players under contract. Let's move on those that are going and enjoy seeing who replaces them.

I'm not too worried about the squad, I trust GT has players in his sights - although it sounds like there's not much money to spend as he is after out of contract players. Ashley Grimes!!! Huge amount of discussion n him last season and just looked him up, only eight goals as a forward, unless he has been stuck on the wing/CM.
