I do despair that our club refuse to look at young players that are recommended to them I realise that they must get 100's if not 000's a year of requests. When a young boy of 15 is attracting the attention of premier league clubs and is banging goals in for a mans team as a lone striker, him, his fathers and uncles wish is for him to get a trial at QPR and have written in to the club with proof that he is being hunted but cannot even be bothered to answer letters and emails. This boy is banging goals in for fun with more pace and strength than most.
it was someone I know of, sorry should have made it clearer. The club have been begged just to take a look at him, he has been offered trials at Watford and West Ham but our lot annot be bothered.
I'd be surprised if that's the case mate. I met a great bloke in Cyprus a couple of years ago who was a Pompey fan who scouted 'The South' for Chelsea. He had a notebook with him at all times and anyone who gave him a name he would go and have a look at. Regardless of how tenuous the validity of the source appeared. That may have been the case before but under CR & SLF from what I understand this will no longer happen. SLF bought this point up at a recent fans meeting about losing local talent to Southampton as far back as the 80's and up until now has still been the case. The new QPR regime as I understand it are trying to arrest this trend.
