Since Kenny signed his contract extension I've been thinking about successful Scottish managers. There have been some truly inspirational and succesful Scottish managers in British football. Some of the most successful include Sir Matt Busby, Bill Shankley, Kenny Dalglish, Tommy Docherty, Walter Smith and to a lesser extent; Graeme Souness, Geroge Burley, Alex McLeish, Alex Ferguson and Paul Lambert. I wanted to know your opinion as to why you think some of the most successful managers in the Bristish game hail from north of the border. As a club who has had many successful Scottish managers you'll probably be best suited to anser the question. Many thanks
I was going to take you seriously until you mentioned Tommy ''The Golfer'' Docherty.He was called the ''Golfer'' because he had more clubs than Nick Faldo. And he's the only manager ever to be sacked for non footballing reasons...He was shagging the Man United physios wife.
Wasn't going to reply, this guy is a bell end, can't even spell Shankly right and he's a spuds fan. Should have posted this ****e on his own board, might have got a better response. It's not a contract extension either. He was caretaker, and from the summer he'll have a completely new contract which will last for a minimum of 3 years - hopefully a lot longer so he can put that old whiskynosed baconfaced twat back in his gutter.
