    Could be an improvement on what we have or at least shore up a terrible defence. Loanees are a good way to save our season bur will not help us in the long term.

    Well someone has to take over danny wilsons place in the stands mike. Wootton may be the person <laugh>. Lets just hope if he comes here, He plays.

    If he was any good would Father send us a good player to the detriment of his son.

    He must be reasonably good to hold down a place in United's reserves.

    Are we definitely getting him? From what I've read it's either us or Blackburn, and quite frankly I'd rather be at Blackburn right now...

    Extract from profile on the Evil Post site:

    "In the summer of 2011, yet to make his United first-team debut, Wootton penned a loan deal with Peterborough United. The starlet, who featured 14 times for the club, saw his loan spell terminated in January 2012.

    Wootton had been due to remain at London Road until the end of the season, but boss Darren Ferguson explained: "I had a chat with Scott and he felt he wasn't really playing enough games. So I was happy to let him go back to Old Trafford."

    So he wasn't good enough to get into Peterborough's defence in Jan this year......hmmmmmm.....

    The only glimmer of hope is that SAF wants him to get guaranteed games. Blackburn might not play him.
    Ironically the fact that we are so ****e might be a bonus in this case
